Cuba, and its inhabitants, is a dream come true for any travel or people photographer. Street photography as it is not possible anymore in many modern countries takes all its meaning in this magic island.
The Cubans even though long time sufferers thru years of restrictions seem to never lose their sense of humour or their smile. During the 10 days spent there, back in November 2007, I met many interesting characters:
From the cigar aficionados in Havana, the elegant Rafael, the cheeky boy in Trinidad, and the air guitar musician in the windy street of this southern city singing Hasta Siempre Comandante to me as I was snapping away, these are the memories I wanted to share with you, and maybe make you want to visit the place, one day.
