I spend the whole day taking pictures in aid of Tommy’s charity. The charity do was set up by owner/chef Mark Poynton after one of his chefs had lost two premature babies. One of them very recently. The idea to make the day original, was to gather 7 chefs from around the UK to cook one dish each for the cause, and then to have 50 dinners pay £95 for the meal, which was followed by an auction and was to raise £7000+.
Menu: Amuse bouche – James Knappett (@ The Ledbury), Starter – Ben Spalding (@ Roganic), Fish Course – Paul Foster (@ Tuddenham Mill), Alimentum Course – Mark Poynton, Main Course – Russell Bateman (@ Collette’s at the Grove), Cheese Course – Will Holland (@ La Bécasse), Pre-dessert – Matt Gillian (@ The Pass) & Dessert – Daniel Clifford (@ Midsummer House) & Michelle Gillott (@ Chocolate Shells).
