Having been given a photopass + 1 at the last minute for this gig, I found myself with a spare standing ticket for the show. After trying to contact nearby friends to no avail, I walked out of the venue, held my ticket up in the air and said: “I have one free ticket for tonight’s concert”, just as a family of four was passing by… The girl looked at me and explained in broken English that she had gone to the box office some days ago to get a ticket but did not buy it because it was “too expensive” (£22.50). So i guess, it could not have gone to a better cause…
On a different note, we were not allowed in the pit to take pictures for that gig, so I had to shoot from the balcony of the fire escape ! Nice !
