Eating at Dos Cielos (two darlings) was a dining experience. The restaurant is one of Barcelona’s best, situated on the 24th floor of Me hotel, the view is breathtaking. We were put up at the Chef’s table, which in itself was an incredible thing, tucked away in the kitchen, away from the other guests, the chef (one of the two Torres brothers: Javier & Sergio) was coming to our table to bring our dishes himself and explain to me (in French) what they were made of. Tasting menu at its best, along with wine tasting list. Highly recommended. But book weeks in advance.

For the second day in Barcelona, we decided to stay at a much nicer hotel, namely ME Barcelona on the Diagonal avenue, another hotel booked thru Mr & Mrs Smith, which saw us being upgraded from a Supreme Room City View (between the 7th and 20th floors), to a Level Room City View (floors 20-28) and get a room on the 27th floor.
