A relaxed and fun summer wedding in the heart of Hertfordshire
Rachael and Ben got married last summer at the awesome Burloes hall, which is a beautiful venue in Hertfordshire. It was a beautiful day and the sun even made an appearance at the end!
The excitement before the wedding
Rachael got ready at her house with the girls, and the atmosphere was full of excitement. The bride then hopped into a Rolls Royce to get to the ceremony. Ben got ready at his parents’ house with all the boys (groom’s preps superbly captured by Hayley Pettit). He travelled to the ceremony in a Range Rover.
The ceremony
The ceremony was held in Haslingfield church. It was a beautiful service
The reception
The reception was in a marquee at the venue. They chose Burloes hall because it’s so cosy and relaxed and they just fell in love with it. It was a relaxed wedding, which I really enjoyed capturing. I love shooting Burloes Hall weddings because the light is just incredible. The way the marquee is set with the magnificent house and gardens as a backdrop is fabulous.
They had ice-cream by Jack’s Gelato in the afternoon and a live band (The Class) in the evening. As well as a pizza bus!
The best part of the day was the afternoon reception because it gave the day a lighthearted mood.
Rachael and Ben’s wedding was everything I love about weddings and so much fun. Here’s their awesome wedding!
