We got booked during half term for a Cambridge family portraits session by this family from Hertfordshire. They were planning to visit Cambridge and decided to book us to capture their outing that day. We met at the Cambridge Botanical Gardens as we felt that being autumn, it could be full of colourful sceneries, and how right we were! The trees were red, yellow and green… An explosion of colours which made for superb family photography in Cambridge!
Cambridge family portraits
Cambridge has got many locations to offer to capture family or kids photography. The Botanical gardens are a firm favourite for us, but there is also Milton country park to the north of the city, and Wandlebury woods and its famed Roman road to the south. Shepreth Wildlife Park & Linton Zoo are also very popular amongst the younger generation. Then the numerous city parks, and a few colleges’ gardens like the Emmanuel college or Peterhouse college ones have got much to offer right at the heart of Cambridge. A bit further afield, the National Trust’s properties of Anglesey Abbey and Wimpole Hall (of which we are members) are very safe for children and families alike.
Contact us if you wish us to capture photographs of your family and children while there are still young. They grow up very quickly. Family portraits make excellent presents!
