Longstowe Hall has been a popular wedding venue for a number of years, both in terms of its aesthetic quality and its convenient location.
The hall dates back from the Elizabethan era and benefits from a perfect location – aside from the stylish double borders around the hall, it is also surrounded by ancient woodland and leads to a lake that is perfect for exceptional images from a Cambridgeshire wedding photographer.
As you can see from these pictures this event was a great opportunity to showcase the natural beauty of the backdrop surrounding the hall, the light showing off the light around the lake and the usual scramble for photos literally showing everyone off in the best light!
In the case of Katy and Peter, you can see that we lucked in with the weather, producing some stunning shots of this beautiful backdrop, while the marquee added a touch of stylish elegance that was a joy to shoot. The hall’s interiors are very impressive well, the venue’s historical style giving the couple somewhere truly special to confirm their love for each other.
Katy’s very elegant dress, the distinct dark colours of the bridesmaids’ dresses and the excellent coordination of the groom and his ushers were all great subjects to shoot. That being said if you look at the photos you can see that this was also an event that was full of fun, with guests of all ages taking advantage of a truly special occasion.
