You are not yet married and would just like to have couple photography of you and your partner taken, in your city or elsewhere, contact us and we can arrange a shoot, a bit like an engagement portrait, but with different poses.
More and more couples also tend to book photo shoots right after getting married. They want pictures of themselves as a married couple in Cambridge. Or they are stationed in one of the American bases near Cambridge, and their girlfriends or wives are visiting and they want some photos taken in town.
The sky is really the limit when it comes to couple photography. You have seen images in Pinterest you would like me to copy. Or you want a specific circuit around Cambridge’s best landmarks. Or you just want to spend some time with the love of your life and you want me to be there to record that thing you’ve got going…
You’re getting married in Cambridge and would like to have some engagement portraits taken before your big day?
Look no further, I will capture superb pre-wedding photographs of you two in some of the best locations in Cambridge! I even sometimes get requests to capture a stealth marriage proposal, but the logistics can be quite complicated to achieve in complete secrecy.
I am local to Cambridge and I am used to capturing portraits of people. I am an expert at capturing the intimacy, the emotions and the interaction between two people during the engagement portraits shoot. It is not always easy to capture the essence of a couple of “strangers” in a short time span. The engagement shoot which is essentially some couple photography helps achieve the transition from strangers to familiar people from the photographer’s point of view.
If you have booked your full wedding day photography coverage with me, and an engagement portraits session is included in the package, one of the aims of that session is to get the couple to familiarise themselves with me (their photographer). But also for the couple to see how I work. And that could also give them ideas for the formal group photo session on their big day.
I always encourage couples to suggest poses or locations they would like to have in their engagement portraits session.
Many couples come and see me to only capture their engagement photography even though they did not book me to photograph their wedding. The main reasons for that: They are getting married away from Cambridge but love the city so much, they would love to have photos taken there ahead of the big day. They often met there while at Uni, or hold the city close to their heart, or love the architecture and want photos taken of them as an engaged couple there.
