When Mary and Daniel invited me to photograph their “engagement ceremony”, little did I know what the whole process entailed. When the day came, I was treated to an amazing Egyptian Coptic orthodox engagement ceremony in the chapel of Trinity college in Cambridge! Both families were Egyptian and such a ceremony was totally alien to me, but what a feast of songs, prayers, and smiles all around. All I have to say is I want to photograph more of these, please!
Have a look at the photographs of this engagement ceremony and you will see how much joy and love transpires from this lovely couple. I had an amazing time photographing the ceremony and the celebrations afterwards, and I cannot thank the couple enough for booking my services for the occasion.
Here is a review left by the couple on Google+:
Jean-Luc was the photographer for our engagement at Trinity College. He did a fantastic job and we would thoroughly recommend him! The photos are wonderful (something that everyone has commented on) and he managed to capture all the special moments of our day so we’re really really pleased! He is also very flexible (we arrived very late so we had to make last minute changes for which he was very understanding), and very friendly, helpful, and always smiling! His costs are very reasonable, and better than all the other places we had asked at. Moreover, the photos were ready very soon after the event and we were able to download any of the photos we wanted online for no additional costs, and we were able to send the link to as many other people we wanted, to likewise download the images. Thank you very much for the fantastic day and the beautiful memories Jean-Luc! Mary & Daniel
