Shiri & Lawrence asked me to capture their short wedding photography at Cambridge Registry Office today.
Short wedding photography is a hit!
The couple originally found short wedding photography examples in my blog. They were delighted to have found me to capture their big day.
They decided to book me as they were happy with what I had to offer them in terms of shorter wedding coverage. Not necessarily because they were on a budget. But because they still wanted a pro photographer to capture their wedding. And I’m glad they chose me, despite the fact that their wedding was an intimate one. Their Register office wedding was a lovely ceremony with their immediate family and friends. The bride was lovely and could not stop smiling. Which was an added bonus from a photographer’s point of view! After the ceremony, they opted to climb the “hill” nearby… And despite the cold, they got their heads in the white clouds for a few minutes and I got to capture lovely candid pictures of them together. This was the last shoot of the year for me, on a crisp but sunny and foggy day with glimpses of an amazing blue sky.
An added bonus is that they have now booked me to capture their wedding reception at The Varsity Hotel in Cambridge in February. I am really looking forward to capture images at such a Cambridge landmark. Two of the walls of the suite they booked are made of glass, and I cannot wait to capture the views over Cambridge’s rooftops from there.
