What a headshot day looks like
Nobody has
to perform.
I arrive around 35 minutes before the first sitter and set up a portable backdrop, two lights and a small posing area in a meeting room or a quiet corner of the office.
Once we start, the rate is steady. Each person spends 5 to 7 minutes with me. I give light direction on posture, shoulders and chin, take a range of frames, show them the back of the camera if they want to see, and send them back to their desk. People who dislike being photographed are usually fine within thirty seconds.
You receive a preview within 48 hours so everyone can choose, and the full edited set within 3 to 5 working days. I am happy to sign an NDA and follow whatever site rules apply.

There is no single correct headshot. A clean light backdrop works everywhere; a dark textured one feels more editorial; a softly blurred office gives a sense of place. We choose the look that suits your business and the space available.
How quotes work
Priced for
your team.
Send me your team size, the venue and a preferred date, and I will send a written quote. It sets out the time on site, the finished photographs per person, the licence and any travel outside Cambridgeshire. I am not VAT-registered, so the quote is the price.

Practical questions
Planning your headshot day.
How long should we allow?
Each person spends 5 to 7 minutes in front of the camera; I book ten-minute slots so nobody feels rushed. I arrive around 35 minutes before the first sitter to set up. A half-day comfortably covers about 25 people and a full day about 50.
What sort of room do you need?
A room with a power socket and roughly 3 to 4 metres of clear wall. A meeting room, a quiet corner of an open-plan floor or a breakout space all work. Send a few photographs of the space beforehand if you are unsure.
What should colleagues wear?
Solid mid-tones photograph best. Avoid bright white and tight stripes, and bring a second top for options. I send a short note you can paste straight into the calendar invite.
How many finished photographs does each person receive?
I take a range of expressions and deliver 5 to 6 finished photographs per person, colour-corrected and cropped to square and landscape, through a private online gallery.
How quickly will we have them?
A preview gallery within 48 hours so the team can pick favourites, then the full edited set within 3 to 5 working days. If the new website goes live tomorrow, a 24-hour turnaround is achievable; tell me when you enquire.
Can new starters be photographed to match later?
Yes. I keep a record of the backdrop, lighting and framing, so later sessions match the first. Many companies book a short session every few months for new joiners.
Can we use the images on LinkedIn, our website and in PR?
Yes. The licence covers your own website, individual LinkedIn profiles, proposals, investor materials and PR. It is set out in the written quote so you can check it before booking.
Do you travel outside Cambridge?
Yes. Cambridge and Cambridgeshire are routine, and I travel further, including London, with travel quoted in advance.
