How quotes work
A written quote,
from your brief.
Every commission is different, so I quote from the brief rather than a price list. Tell me what the images are for, how many people and locations are involved and when you need them, and I will send a written quote with the time on site, the finished images, the licence and delivery.
Travel within Cambridgeshire is included, and I am not VAT-registered, so the figure in the quote is the figure on the invoice.
For organisations that need photography through the year, such as new starters every quarter, I can plan a series of sessions in one consistent style. Ask about it when you send your brief.

Anglia Ruskin University and the West Cambridge site. The central offices along Trinity Street, Hills Road and the Newmarket Road corridor.
Beyond those, I travel to your office or venue across Cambridgeshire, including Ely, Huntingdon, St Neots and the villages.
Continuity is the quiet advantage. The second shoot matches the first, so your image library grows instead of fragmenting into five photographers’ styles.

We've used Jean-Luc as the photographer for our company's Christmas Parties for the past few years and he's always done an excellent job. We've usually hosted our events in Cambridge colleges which can have a challenging array of lighting conditions, but this hasn't stopped us getting some great photos. Particularly appreciate the ability to take good candid shots rather than just posing everyone.

Practical questions
Before you book.
Do you photograph at Cambridge Science Park and the Biomedical Campus?
Yes, regularly. I am used to signing in at reception, visitor badges and escorted areas. If your building has its own security induction, send it across and I will complete it before I arrive.
What licence do we get with the images?
A broad commercial licence for your own marketing, recruitment, internal communications, website, social media and PR, unlimited in time and territory for those purposes. Onward sale or licensing to third parties is not included. Full copyright assignment can be quoted separately.
How quickly do we receive the files?
A preview gallery within 48 hours, and the full edited set within 3 to 5 working days, on a private download link. Faster is possible: a 24-hour turnaround is achievable when a launch, a press release or a board meeting depends on it. Tell me the deadline when you enquire and I will confirm it in writing.
Will you sign an NDA and follow site rules?
Yes to both. I am happy to sign your standard NDA before we discuss the brief in detail, and I follow your security, PPE and visitor rules. In labs and clean areas I only photograph where you have cleared me to, and I delete anything captured outside that scope.
Can you cover the office, the team and leadership headshots in one day?
Usually, yes. A typical day is a couple of hours of workplace and team-at-work photographs, a block of individual headshots against a portable backdrop, and a short leadership session in a meeting room or lobby. We plan the running order together.
